Et voici que la première étape de l'European Leg vient d'être remportée par Guilherme TAMEGA qui affrontrait en finale le Canarien Martinez dans des conditions assez moyennes. Personnellement, je n'ai pas grand chose à dire, une élimination prématurée en 1/8ème de finale après une série difficile et sans assez de vagues pour s'exprimer. Forcément un peu deçu, cela faisait un moment que je n'avais pas fait un premier tour (2008) et parfois c'est sûrement bon de perdre, ça te remet un peu à ta place. Et ça te remotive à fond pour la suite! Prochaine étape Sintra, j'ai pris un vol pour Lisbonne lundi et apparemment un bon swell est en approche pour les côtes portugaises pour ce week-end. Lundi soir, lancement des opérations à Sintra avec un cocktail officiel convivial. Je suis bien installé avec les Hawaïens, dans une case confortable et une très bonne organisation. Je passe au round 7 Heat 49, ce sera sans doute jeudi 26. Cette étape va être décisive pour le classement IBA final et donc le sacre de champion du monde. A très bientot donc pour plus de news ! Here is the first of European Leg wun by Guilherme TAMEGA against the Canarian Martinez in weak conditions. Pesonnaly, I don't have anything to add : an untimely elimination in 1/8 after a difficult heat with no waves to express myself. Inevitably desappointed. It's been a while since I was not out on my first heat... It's probably good to loose sometimes, it may take you down a peg. And give you a big motivation to come on! Next stop Sintra, I had a flight from Bilbao to Lisbonne on monday 23rd and apparently a good swell is coming for next week end. Monday evening, convivial inauguration cocktail. I'm staying with the Hawaïan team, in a confortable house and a very good organization.I'll be on the round 7 heat 49, it'll be probably Thursday 26th.
